Changing seats in 73 3.0 CSA. But the seat rails on the installed seats seem to be different than the type I need. My car has the adjuster handle on the floor ( not part of the seat rail ). Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Bob

Seat Rail Pics

The gentleman from the coupeguy.com website was kind enough to send a couple pictures... I think these are the type of seat rails that I need.

Please see the attached files.

Hi bob, yes i hace x2 sets of the rails you want. I was going to keep them and mount x2 aluminium seats to them so the seats were ajustable, but i now find that race rules require them to be bolted dowm.
il post up the pics of the ones i have and please let me know, as my courier is taking x2 parcels on wednesday for forum members.

I really dont mind helping anyone with info or parts, in fact I do my best to provide info and parts to keep these old crocks on the road. I am not a business but rather I like to consider myself a resource and hope I can help anyone who needs coupe help. I have put the rails back in my barn and dont want to dig them out again, so buying from mrbump is probably your best option.

....And selling them. I dont think anyone in 20 years of selling parts has done a anything like this. I can't help you with the seat rails after all zumbmw.

Seat Rail Clarification

All right fellows,

You can think what you like but there was no malice in posting the photo of the rails that mr bump asked me for. I had already communicated with coupe guy and far as I'm concerned appreciated his effort to help me and intend to purchase rails from him. I saw no problem to share the photo in the interest of sharing knowledge about the parts. You never know if someone else may need these rails and if so then they would know another source. The idea to solicit cheaper prices is not my style.
