Getting my car back together and need 15-20 screws, rubber washers and nuts for the side trim.

I'm about to place a W&N order, but I also figure someone has a bunch of these sitting in a drawer, used and a little rust is OK.

Thanks,

Todd ... before you order these from w+n ... better be sure they have fixed them ... and they now fit. if you were to buy new T bolts, i would buy them from BMW - a little bit more, but you know they fit.

Do not buy the rubber nuts from BMW - as they don't have rubber on them anymore. if you buy new, i would look at w+n

EVERYONE MAKES A BIG DEAL ABOUT THESE
JUST BUY THE 4 MIL BOLTS OR WHATEVER
AND GRIND DOWN THE TOP AND SLIDES TO FIT
3RD GRADE JOB
AND THEN JUST SPRAY THEM WITH CLEAR SEALER OR PAINT
DONE DEAL FOREVER
YOU CAN MAKE THEM AS TIGHT OR LOOSE AS YOU WANT
TAKES TWO MINUTES A BOLT

Yes, of course. And given I welded in new rockers and then painted the car in my garage I may even be able to tackle that bolt modification.

Or maybe someone has what I need lying around. Or not. But I figured I’d ask!

I went with Scott’s plan....BMW bolts and W&N nuts, worked perfectly even though it set things back a few days.

Alan-I almost went with your plan,

thats good glad u were able to find some
im going to make up a bunch for the next person that needs em
and shorter so they dont stick out of the fender and panels
thats what mine are
