....this is a part of the fender, never been available as a separate item.
As you might know, new fenders are going to be available soon at reasonable prices.

Yes, Stefan Ries will sell them. Should be on sale soon. I'll let you (and the forum's members) know!

Hello Krzysztof, I already have that part and although not in perfect shape I think very much fixable. The part I am looking for is the inner part, and not even the whole thing just the one that you see in the picture with plenty of rot, the one closest to the driver’s door.

Hi.

This is very problematic part in most of the E9 from humid climates (incl. most of northern part of Europe).

I have just pictured how the fender part is folded into the front fender.

The picture is from fb. No mine.

It is a long time complete repair panels (as below) are not available

41211814148 (right - production finished 2021) and 41211814147 (left - out of availabilty from BMW 2016)

Ohhh snap now I feel like a fool . Ok I just studied the picture you sent andI realized that the part hanging on the A pillar is part of the front left fender, it is the entire part that folds inward, it is just so rotten that it ripped off the fender when we took it apart.
So the 41211814147 is in good shape after all it is the fender that is the problem. I need to thank you for sending that picture Krzysztof.

It would be good at the point in time to borrow or buy tiny inspection camera to look inside.

Most professional body shops are drilling this out (keeping in mind the whole condition of the car body), repair, clean and protect from inner side.

Purchased a used but in very good condition left fender with the inner lip attached from Jim Stone today, he still has some pretty good stuff in his inventory just in case someone is looking for metal panels.
I want to thank you all for the help, this chat is extremely helpfull. :)
