I am looking for the triangular guide in IMG 5070 that goes in the hole in IMG 5065. I need guides for both sides. Not having them is causing my rachet to not be 90 degrees and now the passenger side seat belt is not working/retracting properly. Probably just a matter of time before driver side does the same.
Al told me to try a couple things before getting new ones. Sewing machine oil, get the guides installed, etc. then see what happens.
I looked on REALOEM and could not find a part number, looked on Ebay too and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if they are still available?
Then, I am looking for the under hood, three piece insulation. I have bought some in the past but it wasn't really factory looking. I've seen some that look factory but don't know the source. Any help in that dept. would help too. Thanks in advance for any help. It's a '74 Coupe.
Well, while I am at it, anyone recommend some better seat belts or harness that would work? I most likely will never have anyone in the back seat so if the harness or belts need to attach back there somehow, that is fine with me. Safety over originality in this case is fine, I can just save the belts I have if I ever sell and someone wants to take it back to original. Any tricks to get the ratchet to work again once they are at the proper angle I am all ears. Either that or the passenger can wear a helmet...LOL
