Looking for a turn signal switch for a 1974 E9.

The indicator that has a short wire and connector 3 inches from the stalk - see photo.

Thanks

Thanks, reached out to Koopman (buying something else from him at the moment too!).

That part number isn't correct, that indicator switch is missing that connector highlighted in the photo above - which is for a parking light ... not sure, maybe only the 1974 has that?? Seems to be unique. I did get a correct one from WN, but it didn't have the "arrows" on the stalk, which I wanted ... may be ordering another one from WN ...

Don't go by pictures.

It says:

"Indicator switch from Model 1973 up ( serial number beginning with 43) on the left side of the steering wheel "

W&N shows this part #: 61311363638

you already have the part you need from W&N (what's the part #?), but you want arrows on them, which the W&N one doesn't have?

Hmm...interesting.

Some background - I am not having a problem with my turn signal or flashers. When I bought my car it had a turn signal from a 633i (and wash switch too). So, looking to replace the Indicator with the correct one.

The WN turn indicator was perfect, except it did not have the white arrows on the stalk, just solid black.

Looking for a turn indicator with the connector I highlighted in the photo and white arrows on the stalk.

wasn't the original switch gloss black instead of satin black? on the vintage originals, i don't remember the white arrows ... just on the later ones. this was primarily from my early 2002's.

according to the wiring diagram, the '74 turn indicator / dip switch has a gray wire that goes to the ignition switch. the wipe / wash switch does not. the pre '74 also is supposed to have this gray wire to the ignition switch according to the wiring diagram.

It is the wiring for the parking light (see #40)

You see the connector I am referring to is #40, connecting the ignition switch #62 and the turn indicator #60.
