Need to buy a windshield due to storage mishap AARRRGH!! I now have two rear windscreens and 0 fronts. Can somebody help out there? I've got a 6 month timeframe.

Given that you are based in the Northeast, I would start by calling Richard Tankel at ProSource Glass in Massachusetts. See http://www.prosourceglassintl.com/index.html While their webpage doesn't specificly mention e9's, Richard is likely to have some ideas.
Failing at that, a BMW dealer can probably get one. The price may be unpleasant, however.
