Thanks in advance!

Those switches don’t match bmw switches….
they are missing a pin.
Mercedes plugs don’t work - they are missing 2 wires to that missing pin.

Don, no way that I can pull apart the MB connector and re pin to match? If I need 6 5 pin bmw connectors, I was thinking 8 4 pin MB connectors to get the pins and then repin them to match the e9 switches.

i’m guessing someone has done it.
why not just get the correct plugs out of an e12?

E12s are very thin on the ground here now. I have a new harness from autosparks for a late spec car I'm doing for a friend so with the merc ones being much more readily available I can de solder the pins and resolder onto the new harness.

I have two switches. One is in excellent condition and the other has the chrome tape peeling.

Chaps, all sorted now many thanks.

Managed to find 8 merc connectors in Germany so hopefully with a bit of tickling I can get it all sorted.
