Yokohama AVS ES100 are totally completely NLA

Those have been gone for years. That's an easy size to get good tires for, why bother with the ES100?

The replacement for that tire is the Yokohama S Drive. Not the greatest tire, but better than the ES100. And in some sizes, the only decent choice available. For the 205/55-16, Tire Rack lists 172 different tires available. The extreme performance summer ranked tires are all great, probably more performance than any E9 ever really needs.

Now if someone has a stash of 205/60-14 ES100s around, I'm listening...

If you try Ebay, you should be able to find two....might be used though. Just save the search and I would think something will come up. How old are your rear ones?

In that case, if you don't get lucky finding some on ebay or the like, I would just go with a pair of the S Drives.

However, unless the rear pair are in really good condition, chances are that they're old enough that you should consider replacing them too.

Im taking a set of 4 which have coverd a mere 750 miles off my car this week when I put a shiney set of 17" alpina alloys on, my yokos are on a set of E31 840i rims. I know this dont help you being in the good ol u.s of a, but if you have a contact over here, im prepared to sell them to you if it helps.

Thanks very much for the offer! Sadly, that chunk of water between us is a problem.

The rear tires have life left, but I didnt get a good alignment done so the fronts are on borrowed time.

I have an eBay alert set-up so maybe I'll get lucky; I'm certainly due.
