Looking for good used zenith 35/40 for an E9 cs(with the event chimney).. i can trade for good weber conversion(in proper working condition)...

here is a picture of the type i am looking for(with the vent chimney)
I read in several places that all 3l cs should have that type of float vent.. not sure if this is correct or if this was for cars of a certain year..
Are this vent chimney conversion kits:13 11 1 259 526 are still available?

hi, yo do not need the vent chimney
the usa zenith manual says that, as a conversion, i believe for emissions
i assume that the vents help gasoline vapours to be swallowed by the venturis
my carbs have no vents

Hi bimoverde,

Are you still looking for a set of Zenith carbs? I have a set and I am looking for a set of Webers too. Which Webers do you have? The '73 bavaria was running really well before disassembly; easy start and smooth. I will take a few pictures for you. PM sent.

Regards,
Bill

Bill - I doubt it. I gave him a set of Zeniths that I got with a stash of parts.
