a few spots on the dash had slits in the wood so i took it out and redid it this weekend
figuring out the wiring to make sure all the functions are working
almost every function had to be checked and repaired since it was taken apart in a hurry to get to paint shop.
by the way if some of your dash lights dont work
it helps to tighten the female plugs in the white and black connector
mine were a bit lose over time
since my engine has 11:1 compression
the starter would not turn it over!!!
so ive pulled all the plugs and have been running it open to loosen it up.
well see . the new battery should help
i may have to run a couple to break it in.
Also i changed all my dash bulbs to 4 watts instead of two.
the taillights have already been done brighter from mo briter.

Raw means no stain, just oil?
The wiring looks pretty fresh and colorful. That will be easy.
I see a couple of out of focus red thingies I do not recognize. LEDs?
Radio seems too modern, the driver side door stop is the old style that fails bad, that is it from me...

Here is my dash and interior in its original state. I thought I should document it before changing the steering wheel and adding a radio.

Very brave to post photos of a CSA. Comments are often not supportive. I like mine. Suits me,. Excellent in crazy city traffic, I mean really....hard to row gears while only moving 1/2 car length. If I want clutch, I have my Healey 3000. Prefer to focus on other areas for improvement, like, why does sunroof not open now? All I did was source all grounds under dash, clean and replace any suspect terminals. Now roof will not open? What happened? Mike
