So would these have been standard on an E9 at time of purchase or an upgrade?
I think in 1973 they would have been model dependent or an upgrade. You see them on CSI’s but you also see the old slotted alloys. I think that all 1974’s got these. For the e3, I’m guessing something similar. I think yours are from an e3 since the centers are painted silver and not black. Just a hunch though. Perhaps some of the forum history experts can chime in.

For the e3 for higher models only; the 2500 came with steel wheel and chrome hubcaps.

my OZ factory delivered '74 #435 series had cromodoras
Those are standard issue FPS
Interesting, are you sure they are Cromodoras and not the standard FPS slotted wheels? They do look quite similar but the standard BMW wheels made by FPS (Foundry Pedrini Siena) are alloy whereas most Cromodoras are Magnesium.my OZ factory delivered '74 #435 series had cromodoras
Hi guys just looking for clarification about the wheels on my car.
Were these wheels standard for a CSI?

As it says in the brochure for the CSl the standard wheels are 7x14 Alpina. For late model CSi the wheels are 6x14 Alpina style wheels. Made by FPS. Visually identical except for the difference in width.
