Same as the strips behind the back of the rear seats. Vibration isolation?

Hi Barry
I too am replacing my trunk seal. I seal I have has no bag and is one linear piece (not circular). It does not appear to be cut. I could have gotten it 20 to 30 years ago. It appears to be in good shape. How does it fit in the channel? I tried to see from you pic but to no avail. I have had the car since 1976. I bought from a dealer in Santa Cruz. New drive train thanks to SF Don.
Just getting the final touches on it so I can drive it again.

Hi Barry, the trunk pieces are really easy to make, probably one of the more fun parts for me at least.
