Gettin close to completion and will be going on BAT; once the finishing touches are complete, but here’s a sneak peek.

72 CSI, 5 speed, Polaris, red, satin finish wood.
new carpet, new paint, new leather, new head liner, new wood veneers, new seals on the windshield front, back, trunk and engine bay, some old seals reused around doors and window sills. (4 speed also included) and all new STICKERS :) lol.

I was trying to finish it for mid summer, but some things are out of your hands.

2 to 4 weeks out.

Hi Rex,
The car looks great! Do you still have it? I haven't seen it on BAT.

Thanks John, yes I do. this picture was taken yesterday with the addition of the scout in the background :), got sidetracked and haven’t had a chance to finish up the punch list.
Rockers, Axle replacement, reassemble the lower dash, and shifter surround.

Rex -- car looks great. A suggestion: consider black leather inserts in your ashtrays for contrast:

So on this line of thought, has anyone put a sub woofer in the factory speaker space, behind the wood speaker grill on the dash?

No need to put a sub in there. Low frequency doesn't need to be directional, so you can put a sub behind the driver and down low with little loss of fidelity. Perceived sound quality can be improved by having the mids and expecially the tweaters as close to the listener's ears as possible. With that said, our cars are never going to be good places to listen to music because of all the exterior noise transmitted through the beautiful glass greenhouse.

Thanks, I actually always preferred the idea of an additional A/C vent being routed through that speaker area - not that it would be practical or easy :p
