I took my E9 for an extended drive today. Just under 300 miles.
When I had the sun visor flipped down, I think it would have been better optically if the back side were black. When they are stowed, of course the side showing should be white.
Functionally I think a back CSL headliner would improve visibility and eliminate annoying reflections in the gauges.
Speaking of reflections, it was really bad for the fuel/temp gauge (left most). I often had to shield the face with my hand to see the fuel needle. BMW should have used angled glass or swapped positions with the clock.

PS: on this tired motor I averaged 18mpg at an avg speed of 78mph. Sure is an relaxing highway cruiser (I was using my BOSE QC30’s ANR earbuds).
