Lots of blue and silver coupes. I saw a drone pic where there are maybe 250-300 cars, we keep hearing it is closer to 700 each year.

Definitely not 700, but a great day and turnout (says the guy that's never been to another). Lots of e30, e24, e28, 2002s. Very cool people. But it was hot and about 110% humidity in that valley.

Also, 2 Schwarz coupes!

It was a beautiful day here with just a little spitting rain a couple times and was great to meet people I have only known online.

Hello all Vintage goers. We're already home in Bay View after a quick flight from NC to WI. But I know you all have drives (some pretty long) before you can say the same. Safe travels! It was great meeting you. Looking forward to driving to one of these.

Great idea. Wish I would have thought of it. I would have taken notes and made it a point of getting all names.
I‘d be willing to do a write up.
@m5bb Gary was the driving force in getting this e9 gathering together. He may be able help with the list of names. Had COVID not scuttled the original May dates I believe we would have had an even greater showing. Still thirteen coupes is something to be proud of. A great bunch of coupes and even more impressive owners showed up. Big Thank You to Gary!

Now to blow my coupe’s horn. 1824 trouble free miles in five days. Averaged over 25 miles per gallon with L-Jet and 5 speed.
Doesn’t get any better…

Doug Dolan & I had a great excuse. I was Doug Dolan’s passenger on the Nurburgring today. 2 laps & had the track to ourselves 5km into the 2nd lap. When we left, the track sign was flashing TRACK CLOSED!

I cant wait for the next one. Like my dad said, we did almost 700 miles without an issue. The ZF 4 speed is horrible, but other than that it was an amazing drive. Way more comfortable than my 02.
