You could be right. I have a euro 72 csi and just did an AC retrofit so the switch is from a different car but I got everything from one car for the retrofit. I believe it came out of a 73 cs…The year makes a difference, look like yours is a 74 or later? You can add you coupe to your signature easily.

It actually looks as though there are 5 terminals, look closely.It has four terminals so it is from a 74 without the heater fan bypass relay, the earlier ones have three pins. Does a 74 switch even work in an earlier coupe Don?
I read this one several times, excellent write up. Not sure about others but for me in Miami, and especially with the higher than average temps…my limiting factors were the biggest condenser I could squeeze in, a Sanden 709, new W&N AC radiator, big Stal fan, shroud for improved airflow & running R12 which I can get. Yes, I could hang meat in the car and keep a Helly Hansen ski jacket in the trunk if things get weirder than that.Here's a solution worth looking into:

Looks factory , where did you source that switch? I wasn’t able to locate a suitable one that would fit. I love all the clever ideas, shortcuts and recipes here.
