Looking for a very good to excellent condition domed wood shift knob without a roundel. Thanks in advance.
Or - going for high end piece - make it all from walnut, oak, auburn... ;-)I have two of them... that need restoration.
They aren't a single piece of wood so you could perhaps do the base piece on a lathe but you'd still need to veneer the top per the originals...these were the correct shift knob for CSL's...
All coupes i believe. Our 2800 has one too.I have two of them... that need restoration.

Early coupes specifically, as I understand it. You see the solid wood ones semi frequently but not so many of the 2-piece.All coupes i believe. Our 2800 has one too.
Congrats to Collin ! Wow that was fast, seems like you were just doing your post retirement baseball tour!Ours is thicker on top, I’ve never looked at one or two pieces. Headed to Eugene for Collin’s graduation from Oregon.
Repops but pretty decent.Didn't CS Werk have some NOS ones a while back? Or were they repops?
