E9 for sale in Vancouver, BC.. does anyone know this vehicle?
Same with eBay.I'll miss what Craigslist used to be,
No kidding and there are so many fake accounts now on FB Marketplace it can be just as bad, if not more frustrating than CL. One expects the scams on CL, having a FB account was supposed to solve that looking at their ratings, profile etc. but now it is sh1t! It's funny reminiscing about the good ol days of CL. We all remember (except maybe a couple people) the good ol' classified ads (Free Penny Saver, Nickel's Worth etc. all used for firestarting paper now).I'll miss what Craigslist used to be, I found so many cool parts - especially wheels - all at great prices. I remember buying two sets of e21 Recaros off a guy in Seattle for $50 a pair. I've bought three square body GM pickups for well under 5k each. Now all the parts and wheels are on FB Marketplace for top dollar and all the pickups are on BaT expecting extra money for original patina that they 'enhance' and then clear coat everything.
That's super cool you saved that ad. I never had the foresight to do that. There was also that App that CL finally had the guy or whomever take down where you were able to find expired ads, but I don't think it went back that far. That thing is a tank but looks like a super fun family vehicle to get out and go to the lake or something.Indeed Craigslist is not what it used to be. I found my coupe on NJ Craigslist in 2008. Really showing my age, growing up in NJ there was a weekly publication called "The Want Ad Press" Bought and sold a few cars that way. Similar publication in the Bay Area (can't remember the name) in the 1980s-90s. I bought a 56 Dodge wagon from in 1991. Still have the ad.
