I've had a non-round premium tire, so it's not only cheap tires that can have this fault even if it's much more common for the cheap ones.
But if you have checked the wheel and know that's the source for the vibrations, I'd try to find someone who can repair it.
Look at my previous post with the pictures, there's a link to a DIY thread explaining how to open the gauges.
Here it as well:

If you look in the thread I posted, on @Markos post, there are two 8mm nuts on the rear of the cluster that needs to come out, then you unplug the two connectors for the wires, and then undo the speedometer wire. The cluster with wiring and gauges should pop right out :)

It's not a big project to remove the instrument cluster, and it's well documented on the forum.

Okay Alan, it's just that when a "GOLDMINE" shows up on your doorstep, it just might not be. Too good to be true, and so on.
Sorry I don't want to be pessimistic, but be careful, alright!
I hope he is everything he says he is.
Will the stock motronic ecu really work with your "full race" S38B36?
I'm very happy if you finally get it running, but I'd go with Don all day long, guaranteed success.
I can't see how this craigslist technician could do it that much cheaper?
5-speed all day long if your going to drive it, changing back to the 4-speed isn't that difficult if it would become important for some reason to have the stock transmission behind your 3.5L.
I know there are more ratios, the ones mentioned are from your picture and I think the one I wrote down as "CR" is the most commonly used in the e9, but I could be wrong.
The "OD" is from the red and blue beast and probably a very rare bird.
Feel free to edit, I just thought it would be nice to...
Is there any difference in height between #1 and #3?
Or is it just the front air dam creating an illusion of beeing lower?
#3 looks best in my opinion.
