C-pillar roundels that are the right color and right screw spacing, window felts, sprung float valves for Zeniths, plugs for the door hinge bolt access holes, wrist pins for the 2.8, door hinges and correct blue carpeting
If your car still has Zenith carbs and the engine cuts out abruptly when approaching idle, for example when diving up to a stop sign, the problem could be a bad anti-diesel solenoid in one of the carbs. It could also be the wiring connected to the solenoid.

Hey Mario,
Is that for my car? I have another base throttle plate that was originally on the car and maybe a mixture screw. The problem with this plate is that the idle circuit is blocked deep inside. Is this of any use to you?

I was changing my oil the other day, and there was this loose plastic part inside of the oil filter element. I think it pushes against the spring loaded valve in the filter bracket. Does the fat end the plastic piece go into the hole first? Thanks.

Those Restro Country 23mm plugs don’t fit. They’re too small. The Home Depot plugs mentioned in another thread don’t fit either. They’re too big.

My car never had a radio. I wanted something period correct, but less common, so I fitted a mono Grundig Weltklang Statomat. It was Grundig’s top of the line and was shown in a E9 in their old brochure. It features four bands and a motor driven seek function which is rather charming. I got...
The original fan had a friction clutch which would disconnect the fan when it failed. Then you would have an overheated engine and maybe a cracked head if you didn’t catch it in time.
Hi everyone,
I'm having a terrible time getting the coolant chamber in the Zenith choke to seal. Is there some special trick to installing the o-ring? I've tried several different new o-rings from rebuild kits, and they all seem a bit big. The leak is not coming from the bold. Thanks...
Does anyone know what sort of clamps were originally used on the fuel hoses? I have a distant memory of constant tension clamps rather that screw clamps being used between the fuel pump and carbs when the car was new, but I'm not sure. Thanks.
