Please refresh my memory as to what the first VIN is for a coupe to be considered a Batmobile.
Roger,

the series 1 Bat started with 2275430 - a series of 110 coupes.
the series 2 Bat started with 4355001 - a series of 57 coupes.

$341k for a Batmobile

Gents and ladies

This was my old Batmobile and I am very, very happy for the new owner and seller.

$341,000 is not anything like a record for a Batmobile, I personally know of three that have sold in the $400k range in the last 18 months.

They are very special cars and had been way to inexpensive for too long. This car has original engine and gearbox, how many of the original 110 series one Batmobiles still have that?

The sale was very lackluster and yet this car did very very well, considering everything.

This is a great result, especially when you consider how soft some other makes are performing in Scottsdale. Are CSLs finally being recognized outside the BMW circle?

Sure seems like they're being recognized. Good sale.
