Hey all,
It's been awhile, but I decided to sell the Bav. I got a little feedback from members saying it's probably worth between $6k and $8.5k. That was over a year ago, so I'll go with the lower figure given the market these days. I'm open to offers. I just want it to go to somebody that'll put in the work that it needs. It's such a cool car that deserves to be fixed up.
The details:
1974 Bavaria with an M30B34, Getrag 265, and triple Weber DCOE 40’s.
Semi daily driver for a 110 mile, one way commute. Starts up every time and has never left me stranded. There’s a flat spot at around 3k rpm that I can’t seem to resolve. Runs rich at part throttle despite my best efforts. Carbs need rebuild, most likely.
Refurbished Tii brake booster from 2002sOnly.
New staggered Coupe King Alpina replicas.
New brake rotors and calipers. Fronts converted to vented.
New a/c system with Sanden compressor and parallel flow condenser. New expansion valve. Only part not new is the evaporator. Heater core recored and hvac box resealed with new foam.
Bad quality color change (from Chamonix) that’s cracking with several rust bubbles. Patches of bondo. Some holes in the floors. Rust on the lower door corners. But hey, the sills and shock towers are solid!
I have the front bumpers and rubber trim for the rears.
