Yes, been driving it and it is running great! Tuned, valves adjusted, new oil pan seal, nice clean air filter cover. Looking nice for a stock motor Not as cool as triple side drafts but nice looking, presentable. The chrome valve cover has grown on me fairly quickly just because it matches the other chrome pieces.
Andrew, yes the splitters and M-stripes are not for purists and it’s definitely no race car. However.. it came with them. Part of me is timid about removing. My luck I pull paint. Stripes were on there too. What I didn’t expect is how many compliments I get on both. The stripes go great with the paint. I think. Sets it off a bit and have grown to like them. You wouldn’t believe the curiosity on what the splitters are. I like explaining they are basically early trials in aerodynamics and that they were used on the race cars. I don’t mind the look. Anyhow, long winded answer yes they will stay. If it ever sells I’ll sell with them on there leaving the removal to new caretaker. They may like them too. Thanks for the compliments. I’m very excited about finally having a nicely refurbished Euro bumper.
