Looking a low mile 2102 VW GTI automatic for the wife.
Any collective wisdom on that car?
Thanks!

My Brother has that car, but it is in Montreal. His is low mile, gently driven (he has many cars) White, 4 door , automatic with cloth seats and navi. ..
If you come up for the yearly Pot Hole festival and have Green money that currently (but maybe temporarily) has value I can slip my Brother some Caribou, sign the paperwork and send you across the border. Will strap the summer tires on the roof.
I am reading that the transition from port injection to direct injection caused sooty tips and also carbon deposit concerns... So far looks like a good plan, only concern is that oil consumption angle.
Thankfully the carbon build up doesn't really come into play till 100k miles. Same issue a ton of OEM's have been having, unless you run direct and port like Lexus has been doing on some engines.
We have a couple in stock at my VW franchise.

Also, if you see one you like anywhere in the market, PM me the VIN and the price, and I can let you know all sorts of information on it.
