I've got a 3.45 side loader LSD from a euro import e24 635csi for sale. The clutch packs are good, we measured 55 ft/lb of break away torque. Car had 96,670 miles (cluster swapped with import) on the odometer.

We're asking 2,500 OBO + Shipping/paypal fees. Located in springfield, ohio. Freight shipping available.

photos of all the e24 stuff available, including diff: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BQMPt9gqkJy1ylQCAYILhk485c6PoWID?usp=share_link

How about a picture showing the stamped “S” and the stamped gear ratio?

Will grab some photos when back at the shop next week.

That said, we counted 38 tooth ring gear and 11 tooth pinion. The stamp on the outside to identify that ratio would be 38:11. ratio is 3.45:1
The s25 on the carrier indicates limited slip
Nice diff, very uncommon ratio from what i've been able to research, strong clutch packs. Add new fluid and go

Edit- 3.64 is most common in USA.

3.45 would be most COVETED for a LSD because it is great for coupes with 5 speed overdrives and modded engines.

It would be smart to replace the o-ring now that the side cover has been taken off along with the 3 seals and the bearings that are 40 years old.

3.07 and 3.25 are European only and harder to find here.

I fitted the lsd 3.09 and a dogleg 5 speed in my 72 Cs. They came straight out of a 1978/79 e24 635. Speedo drive works perfect, and it lights the rears up in 1st and second with ease.
