3x Coupes FS on Facebook NMNA

I can see the appeal of trying to resurrect a coupe. Could also make any type of custom coupe and not have to cut-up a better example.

I see a Markos de-construction thread X 3.

Buying that parts car was the best thing I ever did. Also my only wrench time on an e9’s :D

I much prefer driving over cutting up cars and searching for parts, but that's just me.

True, but everyone’s idea of a car hobby is different. Some of the most capable cars are never driven. Some of the most valuable cars are never restored. Both owned by enthusiasts.

The way it usually works for me is I get excited about a new project, start breaking up all the work into smaller projects so I don't get overwhelmed, make progress, have a few setbacks, make more progress, not making enough progress, getting frustrated, this will never end, I just want to drive it already, screw it, it's good enough.

Indeed - that's what the - "that's just me" part implied. ;)

Well…..
I drove out and looked at them.
Anybody else?

They are partial parts cars.
Burnt, crashed and rusted.
True roaches.

I bought the one for sale in Sacramento on Wednesday.
Sheet metal/paint repairs will be $25,000.00
No problem.

That seems to be very reasonable IMHO. Especially for California. I'm hoping one day I can get away w/that kind of budget for paint and body work.

One can spend $25k just in metal work alone on these E9s as you well know.

Congrats Don!....pictures please

I agree these coupes are a tough sell, but at first glance nice to see more than (1) for sale with the dreams of haggling a fair price. Poor condition and difficult to recoup any time investment here.....

I will say again- seller seems like a nice guy.

I didn’t waste my time with pics-I took them and I deleted them.
these are barely parts car.
after a car goes up in flames- there’s nothing to talk about.
