im going to slowly get the money to send so he may finish yet im not i bag hurry as its
going to sit during the autumn and winter anyway ok

I’m not sure if that is the outstanding balance or the estimate to complete. I would be cutting a fixed bid contract at this point instead of T&M.

I would not let this project continue without a sit down meeting with him to discuss the future cost. Looks to be spinning out of control?
 
good thinkin 3 k as in

so i nailed him down on when hes going to be at eh raceway so sunday eve at 7 -9
ill be there to take photos of all this damn money hes damanding
and refurbish the wood w/ tung oil
hope it hasnt gotten bad from neglect
and polish all the aluminum
as its all raw.
 
getting far down the list so i thought id update
so ive resigned to let the coupe sit in the protected shop at the raceway
not that i have the outrageous money to pay THE FEE but its a good place to store for the winter.
ill keep up the info

I hope he's not on this forum, might start adding storage charges or send it to auction to recoup his payment, I'd be looking to get the car back asap, good luck with it.
 
I agree with e9john. I 'unfortunately' trusted the guy who was restoring the e-type for me MUCH too long. Hope it works out for you Alan, but I'm a bit leery of the guy who's been 'working' on the car and racking up charges. Just my opinion.
