Andy- where do you live, Chris- how's the white lady coming along?

Hi Peter -- a little slow. There was more to the melted wiring that we thought; I still don't have it completely sorted (but I am down to one tail light circuit). I must say, electrical wiring is generally something I take for granted in my cars; and fixing melted wiring within wiring bundles is singularly unrewarding.

So, while I tried to stay focused on the electrical stuff, from time to time I get distracted by the desire to have a Nardi steering wheel or Euro headlights or to shine up some chrome.

Here is the list, so far:

Battery to starter wiring replaced
Battery to alternator wiring replaced
Battery ground cleaned up
Cleaned up battery tray; painted
Black kidney grills
Cleaned up under hood rubber seals
Nardi steering wheel
Door pull brackets added
Door card window blanks added
Ebrake upgrade installed; ebrake adjusted
Rear license plate bracket upgraded
Hood Roundel replaced
Front light trim cleaned up
Replaced broken side light front
Replaced broken side light rear
Replaced spark plug wires (two broken sockets)
Replaced rear left light socket (melted)
Rewired rear light socked ground

Repaired left front side light circuit (cleaned up ground)
Replaced headlights with Euro H1s
Cleaned up spare tire well, primed and painted

So, my rolling restoration has involved a lot more restoration than rolling.

I'm guessing our new e9 owner here will likely also find the initial ownership period involves a lot more restoration than rolling.
