Nice to be out here and interacting with you. Will definitely welcome the help getting my Bavaria in better shape. 72, purchased from a local owner, part of an estate, just sit for a long time.

I have an Agave '72. Welcome. Will be following you on your journey. These are great cars. The most beautiful sedan BMW ever and will ever build. An E9 Coupe with two extra doors. Looking forward to more of everything.

Welcome. I think I recall seeing this e3 when it was first up for sale a few months ago. It's been upgraded to fuel injection as I recall.
Lots of knowledge here. Don't be afraid to ask questions and utilize the search function. Check out the tech section there's a lot of e3/e9 overlap.

Good Luck!

Welcome. You've found the right group.

What are your plans for the car?

More pictures please!
Hi Dick. Thanks! Some of that will depend on what parts I can get and can't get. The car runs pretty well. We're working on the brakes right now, and I'm pulling the radiator to take it in and get it tanked, or if it needs more, more. We've got a great old school radiator shop here in Vancouver, and they did a couple of 2002 radiators for me and a pair of E21 units, so I'm confident in their ability.

It also needs the shift linkage fixed - really loose.

I'll get more pics later in the week when it stops raining!

REALLY need a windshield at some point. But you can see from the first pic, it's starting to clean up nice.

If everything else turns out pretty well, I'll take it into Beaverton Upholstery and get all the seats re-trimmed. The door cards are good, and only a few small dash cracks.

So that being said, I guess a really nice but not show car driver, that will probably get 1500 miles a year put on it. Maybe less - only because I've got two other classic BMW sedans and three Alfas. Hours in the day!

But I am super excited about having this car.
