Well said Roger!! I came across this one 2 weeks ago and was indeed surprised at the value. The detailed info/ pics etc are only for 'prospective' buyers. On the other hand, here, a top CSL restorer, using NOS CSL sheet metal, front and rear fenders and a COMPLETE nut and bolt restauration, no patch work/ NO bondo on the sheet metal, and everything onwards from engine, interior etc etc etc, takes an easy € 6 figure. Then add the cost of a CSL and (obviously) profit, and you end up at the mentioned price for a NON BAT!
Whether someone buys it or not (right now), like the Hyman CSL, is almost secondary to the fact that, in which direction CSL's are heading. For us who been into E9's for 30 odd years, such prices are "mind blowing", to say the least, but I remember thinking the same about gulwings, M1's etc. Those who grew up with those cars then, are surely in the same 'thinking dilemma' , prices wise, as we are today. The only remorse is why we didn't buy (more) CSL's whilst they were being literally thrown away, and not so long ago!
