74 w/5 series window motors help

so this is the 74 w "5" plugs at the switch
and the breaker buttons under ther dash that just cuts power to the switch
so the 5 series motors have two wires
reverse polarity and they go up and down when reversed
but the 5 prong switch only provides 2 active prongs when pressed
only one up and one down with one common
how does the motor work with the switch as
when you press one side you no longer hit the other side of the motor
so do the 4 prong switches reverse polarity

after analyzing the system
its actually a plug and play for the 5 plug switch

Yes Alan, the later window motors fit perfectly, all three screw locations are in the same place as the OE 74 motors. They just raise and lower the windows in about 1/3 to 1/2 the time the OE motor was taking in my car. They are an easy plug and play (well, at least after you get the window mechanism out of the rear qtr panels!).

very cool the rears really go fast

i thought only the motors from the back windows of an E28 were a straight swap ??
