Since the Compressor is new, you didn't have any issues before, then the Compressor sounds like it could be the issue. The electrical part of the compressor is the clutch that activates the compressor. Make sure the wiring to the compressor isn't shorting to ground.

Thanks for all the help, including your call @sfdon. AC now is running well and reaching 48 on a 85 degree day using red fuse. Here was the fix:
Cleaned all electrical connectors and the fuse box. Removed the front panel and treated both the temperature control knob (which was very stiff) and the A/C fan control knob with contact cleaner, followed by a small amount of DeoxIT.
Checked the squirrel fan from both sides, and it spun freely, no obstructions. The squirrel fan is still always running (just barely) even though switch is fully off.

Squirrel fan runs all the time with every off. Maybe replace the AC fan switch? Not a major problem just a bit annoying when cold out

1- Squirrel fan turns on when key is in on position, and also when you start the car
2- Heater fan can be turned on by moving main on/off blower switch to the right, although it does not stay in the high position, I think the cable needs adjusting. It will go to high but as soon as I let go of the lever it goes to medium speed
