Amelia Island 2015

right, i know where that is ... up (near) the end of the island. so who all is in for dinner on friday evening ... and what time.

we will arrive perhaps early to mid afternoon ... so anytime is fine for us.
 
I'll be there all day so I can meet anytime - those that are also arriving Fri afternoon/evening - what works for you? 8pm? earlier?

Or if it is better for others like Scott Crater who arrives late Fri we could do a Sat dinner instead.

i unfortunately can't do saturday dinner as we have plans with some friends from Kiawah - non e9 people.
 
Yes, we are coming in Friday afternoon.
Depending on how much we stop and sightsee we can make dinner.

Sandy Bottom is 5 miles from where we are at the Amelia Surf & Racquet club.

Let's go for that and if running late I can text Steve or Scott and let them know.
How many and do we need a reservation?

I am staying next door so I can hold us a table. There is a parking lot off the beach road in front of the restaurant. If you all want to meet closer to the Omni that's fine with me too. Otherwise I will hold a table for at least 8. If anyone else wants to join us let me know.
 
Haven't seen Scott Crater chime in but know he is coming.
Not with the CSL as it is apart.

i believe he is arriving late friday night. what about Don Bower - is he still coming - with or without the coupe
 
I will be there, come hell or high water (an 80% possibility on the water). As of today, it looks highly likely that I will be in the coupe. Scheduled to pick it up from the shop where it has been for 18 months on Thursday, drive home, pack, and head south Friday morning. Call or email me with Friday night plans.

Cool, I am bringing tailgate friendly (and decent tasting) single serve wine (Copa DiVino) - pretty stealthy - not sure how casual the FL off premise consumption laws are. No glassware needed. See you all there.

Yes, us too. Wine in the trunk as I write this. I'll update you in route, we're leaving Conroe about 3:00 PM and stopping in Hammond, then to Amelia tomorrow.

Looks like I fried the brain of my D-Jet (see the other link) so we'll be in the 540 e39 "I'm-almost-an-M5". Better than the X5..:sad:
 
ohhh ... ouch. sorry about the ecu. hopefully there are a few around. or perhaps somebody can repair them.
