Me: Hey, want burritos for lunch?
Wife: Please, that sounds good.
Me: Ok see you in an hour.

Two children under 3. You have an understanding, generous wife. I remember those days. I am also a tennis player and after my children were born, Gavin and Leslie, I did not play tennis for quite a while.

that's in part why I bought the Bavaria and added rear seatbelts - if I didn't include the kids in car outings I'd never drive it - my days of 100 mile bike rides remain in the pre-kid era

I hear ya. I got mine (10 years ago) because I had small kids...I'm still nowhere near finishing it and my oldest is almost 17 and has an 88' 325is now..eh well...

i bought a '73 Bavaria (sahara) in 1986 when my son was 6 months old. it was so easy to get him in / out of a car seat in that car. and i had a blast driving it around.

Two years after my son was born in 1978 we sold our beloved 1600(The only new BMW we will ever own) and swapped it for a '74 3 liter Bavaria. Leslie came along three years later. When we packed for the four of us and the dog for two weeks at Cape May Point NJ there was still room in the trunk. The '74 was followed by three more, one running, the other two parts cars. Love, love them.
