Sadly, this kind of crime is not punished to the extent we all think it should be.

So true.

Here in Massachusetts, our AG said it not a crime of theft to take in excess of $2,000,000 in project work deposits, do one week of work, and then walk away with 98% of the $. Seems Analogous to what this UK crook did.

This Massachusetts case was resolved via civil legal action to get the fellow’s construction license revoked. Had the projects been for the state government, I’m sure the AG would have pursued the case as a crime. At one point I argued that for less than 25% of the legal fees we spent, “Vinny’s cousin” could have permanently prevented that crook from ever cheating anyone again. More civil voices prevailed…

Ever since, I’ve only used services that bill in arrears (excluding a very small token cash deposit). I have had no problem finding any type of high quality reasonably priced service with this approach, including classic car restoration.

Again, so sorry to hear about your misfortune (someday). This is why we so strongly urge members of this forum to go with well established and well known service providers like VSR1, CK, LJ, SFD, etc.

John, a very old friend was the assistant AG in Ma. when Coakley was the AG. As you know, as physician, I cannot accept any gift over 50 dollars, cannot accept anything from a rep. I had a post it pad with the Viagra label on it and a Viagra pen...the one that you open and it expands (truly, not joking). Against the law for me to have so I gave them to my friend and asked that he use it to leave a message on Martha Coakley's desk that I won't be voting for her for senator.

Again, so sad to hear all this.............

Thanks Gents and everyone else for the kind words and messages.

If folk want to message me, I will more than gladly gather the info and push it forward to the Police.
I am also looking into taking a civil case against him but ultimately not much can be done with out knowing where he is. This is where hopefully something will come up on this form or other social media platforms.

The more info people know / have about him, the smaller an area he has to hide in. As I can see the E9 group / following is pretty tight and its only a matter of time.

I wouldn’t immediately assume the colors are different. Check in with the seller!
I noticed in the FB ad that it explicitly says "Not leather." Either that's a really clever way of throwing the local constabulary off track (while also getting less money for them), or it's not your hides. Hopefully the latter.

Yeah it does kind of look like vinyl.

I've had experience with Dom, Classic Legends! Botched up my pink Nissan Figaro, took my money, lied, didn't hand back my things, put a Barbie sticker over a bad paint job, ruined my chrome, painted over vinyl, hand brushed the trim instead of spraying, made car fail MOT, made excuses, kept car for 12 weeks, broke my key, didn't communicate, said there is new metal in the arches when there wasn't, didn't pay the guys who put my cambelt in or the painter apparently and owed one of the places £25,000 in rent. I had a massive go at him on the phone then in person for ages. He just stood there, smoked, said 'don't touch me', told me to go and he'll call the police. Also took someone else's money and kept his car for over a year. Dom had someone's car roof that they were looking for in/for winter and said he doesn't have it. He doesn't have car experience and was an airport worker in Luton. Online it says the company dissolved last year. The bank said I can't get my money back cos of how I paid. I talked to two Polish guys on FB messenger who worked with him. One said his friend painted my car but himself left and doesn't work for Dom. The other guy was rude, disrespectful and wanted me in his car. I came across a home address linked to the business but may not be able to find it now. Other businesses renting in the buildings may know more including J H Paintworx who told me things but has moved premises. I'm local. What is astonishing is the Classic Legends logo was on the Santa Pod jet car, I think only cos he knew the painter. I lost my job at Pod from discrimination but that's a whole different thing.

Dom is a con man, he has ripped off loads of car owners ie

Taken their
deposits
Cars
Car parts
Made loads of broken promises

Their is a mile long que of victims, he's left behind like a train crash and he's gone back to Poland ,Before the police could arrest him
Rumours are he's back in England , still taking his haul of BMW parts back to Poland

E9 owners where his main victims

Can't police/airport staff find him by his name when he's at the airport regarding tickets/passport?

Hope this is of some use to you and anyone who has dealings with him.
Dominik and his significant other sublet this property without consent to let.

It also uses the help to buy mortgage loan which prohibits subletting.

If anyone wants to get him back, informing homes England, target hca will likely sting him.

Explain your reasoning behind this.
