Asking for eu e9 lowering springs

My fronts are Jaymic lowering springs, although unhelpfully I can't recall if they are the "standard" lowering springs or if I asked them for more of a drop!

I took my struts to Gaz shocks this week for adaptation for their coilover solution at the front. The price for all four wheels (rears are adjustable springs and shocks but not coilover) is £897 plus VAT. I also went for some camber plates at £126 + VAT. These prices compare really well with alternatives sucg as KW V3.

I had a look around their operation which is impressive. I also checked them out on the web and they have an excellent reputation in the racing world and are well versed on road car needs. All the shocks are fully adjustable on the car so I can play with the settings. They also offer springs to suit your preference and will change them for you if you wish.

What convinced me was an episode of Wheeler dealers where they were upgrading the suspension for a Porsche 944 Turbo, and they used Gaz Shocks coilovers.

It takes about 4-5 weeks so they are made to order, but I think they will be worth the wait.

So..... I will have four brand new unused Bilsteins sports shocks and a set of Jaymic lowering springs for sale soon if anyone is interested.

I got tired of having to repeat the questions to Jaymic and not hearing anything back within reasonable time, so I'll just figure out something temporary until I have the $ to send my struts to GAZ.

I found Jaymic a bit poor on getting back to me, but with me calling and pushing things along they did come through in the end ( other bits I needed not springs ) .
When I did my springs they made mine from scratch, 40mm lower and 25% stiffer combined with CN sway bar 16" Coupe King Alpinas 225/50 Yoko Advans with rolled arches/fenders, looks good and drives well..... Even in torrential rain ( see other post)

I found the staff at Jaymic very helpful, they are a husband and wife team. It does seem that the boom in the 02 market has made them very busy. They once told me that they suffer from email attacks, so emails may get into the the spam folder and not seen. Whenever I called them they were 100% on it and helpful. I understand that this does not help if it is hard to call and that they are not in the same league as say WnN, however I am glad we have them as an option.
I met them at the Gaydon BMW event last year, they were friendly making every customer seem like a friend, they sold me a pair of rear brake pads for very little, but they still made me feel very welcome.

Yes, when they finally respond they are great with long and informative answers. So I'm not saying to avoid them or anything like that at all, I'm sure it would be easier to have direct phone contact with them, and maybe I was a bit grumpy when I posted my previous post here.

I didn't know they were a small family company, so that further explains why they can't have total control of everyone sending them questions. Thank you for making me see this in another way!

Cheers,
