It shounds resonable, if the name of the brand will be mentioned in a way it can be taken as original BMW part, it should be no formal issue as we are only speaking about parts, not a whole car.
If I'm remembering correctly, the investment needed for stamping dies (the parts excl. labor) in Poland was about half of the one @xjan99 mentioned from China. Making them in China creates some problems which I do now very well being in the automotive industry for some years.
Is there any plan/proposal how to potentially bring E9 fans to support the initiative and spread the topic across the world?
Is the fender the prio #1 or only scanning is the goal for the first time?
