Coupe Photos

Those ATS wheels are very nice and different from the usual wheels seen on coupes. You have the USA red rear side markers on your car. Was that a safety preference? That's why I kept mine.

So, our local community newsletter has been featuring local "Motorheads" in the past few issues, and I decided my car needed to be featured too. I wrote up a little something and the photographer took a couple of nice shots:

Jon VanWoerden is the official photographer for the Everglades BMW CCA chapter in south Florida. We went to a park at sunset to take pics of my car. The results were very nice.
Here's a few I took with my iPhone 11 Pro. His pics will follow when I have them downloaded. Jon really knows how to get the car in position to capture the sun. I removed the roof connection to the 3 point seatbelts to allow the full windowless effect.

I have a Chamonix 2800cs (mine is pretty tired). I like how your car looks. Are those 16 inch Alpina style and have you lowered your car at all?

Wheels are 15 Wed Bavarias. Car is lowered, yes. Carl Nelson springs, removed the US aluminum strut spacer/ring in the front and went to the Euro spring pad in the rear. Bilstein shocks.

And the paint is not a BMW color. Seller picked the color; I think it is a GM color called Platinum White.

Sweet. Gotta try those sunset shots :)

Thanks, Stan. I do spend too much time just staring at it.

Don
So much fun. It’s like taking out baby pics, or in this case, grandchild.:) Here’s mine. Taken by an amateur (me), with my iPad.:)
