It's time to move on from my favorite car owned thus far. I am the second owner of this ~75k miles 1985 grey market import BMW M635csi big coupe. If you are looking at this car, you probably already know that this model has 36HP more than the catalyzed and lower compression US version that came later. This vehicle was imported in 1985 into Connecticut. I bought the vehicle in 2011 and have put about 2k miles a year on it since. Always garage kept.
First, the details:
Arctic Blue Metallic
Anthracite Buffalo Leather seats
BMW phone integration kit (removed, but have all the gear)
Becker Mexico radio (works great)
Headlight wipers/washers
16" Authentic BBS RS wheels (refinished)
SuperSprint exhaust (no catalytic converters)
I have three pages of spreadsheets containing specific details on work performed, parts replaced, oil changes, mileages, etc. In addition, I have kept all receipts. In total, over $12k worth of work has been performed since I bought it. The car runs fantastic and in reality has been my most reliable vehicle through the years when considering how infrequently I use it. The paint isn't perfect, but quite good. There are a few dings here and there, but in great shape considering the age. I'd give the exterior 8/10, interior 9/10, and the engine 9/10.
Some notable items repaired/replaced in the last couple years: New tires all around, new rear shocks, new drive half-shafts, new diff mount, throttle resynchronization (using 6 port manometer), new coil.
