Nice car I think. The cabrio conversion looks really clean, well engineered. It actually looks like you can park this one in the rain and not flood the interior like with so many (DIY) convertible conversions.
The interior may have looked good in the 90's when it was state of the art. Now it's just to dated for me, it doesn't fit the car anymore.
I would think changing some interior bits back to a more OEM spec is not too difficult. Original spec new carpet, trunk panels, a pair of E9 front seats reupholstered together with the rears, and another steering wheel would make it look more stock. (more beautiful in my eye also) Roughly 6-7K in parts?
A bit more difficult would be to source correct doorpanels; I am no fan of the chopped up, speaker packed current ones.
Nevertheless, if you must have a convertible and an 2002 is too small, this may be the one for you!
