Don't be tempted to fit a 350mm Petri onto a coupe. Way too small...does not look and feel right. Temporarily fitted a 35cm Momo Prototipo once, it looked totally out of place and had an awkward driving feel to it. These smaller Petris are priced much cheaper and more readily available than the bigger factory leather covered 38mm wheels. Also, these were never covered in leather, just the soft and squishy foam material, pressed and formed to look like black cowhide. Most people are used to a more rigid steering wheel grip, therefore, the soft and spongy foam has a very strange feel to it. This also applies to the bigger 40cm Petri wheels, which used the same foam material.
Obviously, the seller is not too informed about the rarity of 380mm BMW Petris. One will come across ten 35cm wheels to every one 38cm Petris and they are priced about half of what a nice 38cm Petri will fetch. $700 is the starting bid, so god knows how much he is actually looking for. This 35cm wheel is worth about $350-$400 at best. This very same SW has been on Ebay for the past year or so and still no takers.
