I am following your advice to a tee. I have already looked into classic car insurance.
On the garage / wet road front, I have been babying a 2001 Porsche Boxster S along those lines. My friends make fun of me with how careful I am, but the car looks fabulous. It's only been drizzled on 3 times because it only gets driven when the skies are clear and the weatherman says no rain. I purchased a cover for the coupe to keep down the nicks and scratches that inevitably occur in garages.
