you saved me from selling a broken clock. And others from buying a broken one
Sadly, mine was not the fuse/easy fix. Over the years it would stop, I would twist the knob/dial a couple of times, it would run. But the running times decreased and decreased and, well you know. Purchased a completely refurbished clock here. Now the challenge is removing the old, in with the new. Another winter project.my clock didn't work and it was a pretty simple fix
They have a built in fuse
There are 2 tiny connectors that are soldered together with low temp solder
You can tell if that is the problem by holding the terminals together with a toothpick or something an putting current to it
If that is the problem, you re-solder and it is fixed
I took mine to an electronics repair shop and had them do it, they charged me $25
