E9 m30 3.0 si 1973 injection problem

You know what is looks like the part 159 this one it takes pin 87 have you got a photo and emplacment ?

In my memory we checked this one it was good but I think the problem is the oxydation on the 2nd relay connexion with big oxydation on the connectics and in the relay connectics.
So what I call 1st relay with red wire from starter the "main relay" is functional and operate the 1,3,5 cylinder
We try with both the car is running on half cylinder
Then we disconnected the main relay the car stops.
So we opened the 2nd relay 169 cold starting relay which is next to the main relay
We stick the contact of relay manually and the car was running on all cylinders
So our conclusion is that he operate the 2,4,6 cylinder.
I will try tomorrow to take out all connections from the plastic where wire are plugged and try to clean the relay connectics also.
I don't know if by brushing it and contact cleaner it I will bring it back to live but I will try to do that in a proper way.
 
Sorry- that is a wrong conclusion.

You are now running on all 6 cylinders because your cold start injector is running continuously.
You are flooding cylinders 1, 3, 5.

I sent you a picture of the cold start injector - disconnect the plug and you will run on 3 cylinders once again.

Use a noid light and do NOT start the engine and DO remove the fuel pump relay.
Turn the key to Run.
You can now test your injectors by pushing rapidly down on the throttle linkage.
Listen carefully- you will hear hundreds of little clicks.
those are your injectors firing.
 
Okey i will try it so for you the problem is still coming from injectors if I understood well?
Because we controlled it in bosh factory and permuted them to see if there is a diffrence and it doesn't change anything
 
connect #1 injector plug to injector # 2
Does injector #2 now click?
If it does- it's not the injector- it's the wiring.

Do not keep the cold start injector running- it will eventually fill the cylinders with gas and ruin the oil.

Has this car sat for a long time?
What work did you last do on it?
 
Get a long screwdriver- hold the tip on the injector and handle to your ear.
Push down QUICKLY on throttle linkage- listen for clicking.
 
I will try it with my bmw garage colegues tomorrow and for the car history I don't really know but the condition of the car seams to be good it stays in our bmw garage for 8 month already
As I said we changed sparks plugs the distributor with correct adjustment
Rocker arm adjustment
Change sparks
Control by bosh all injectors
The wire are good
New computer
Control of fuses
Compression measurements are good
And I think that's all what I know of the interventions on it
It may be incomplete I am not always in garage I am in school also so can't be always there :)
 
Hello the problem could come from the throttle cobtroler ? If it's possible how we can control it thank you by the way

Take apart and clean- you can do it.
Send to Netherlands for rebuild.

The TPS I believe is not the problem.

Disconnect computer and test all 6 wires on injectors 2,4,6.
3 wires should be “open” and 3 wires should be “ground”
 
What happened with the instructions I gave you yesterday?

Did you hear only 3 injectors click?
 
When I disconnected computer all the wires are good I already tested it
And I didn't done yours instructions I haven't time for this one today unfortunately :/
 
At the end of the day my colegue says that it may be that throttle part because maybe the car don't have the info of the demand in air and thinks she is in deceleration or something like that and disconect half of injectors
 
Yes I listen but you can't say that my colegue who is working for more than 40 years in bmw he is a technician don't have any knowledge
And repairing those cars isn't so easy moreover we don't have no more old tools to work and diagnose this cars so we do with what we have.
And we don't have a delay to repair this car so we can't work fully on it because we have a lot of others car to repair in one day

Swap #1 injector plug to #2 injector

A screwdriver and your brain are your tools…
 
Only what I will se its that with wiring switch 1st one will don't turn the 2nd cylinder will turn
You will say it s wiring but the wiring is good
After you will say its injectors but we switch thems they are good ....
