Okay everyone, this thread is the new place to post drawing information, parts dimensions, data, etc. Any of the drawings on this post are only to be used for individual usage and not to be used for commercial profit unless approved to by the individual who created them.

The first post will be the drawing for the rear trunk panel, this is conceived as a 2 piece construction that is glued together prior to wrapping with the vinyl. i used waterproof panel board that is 30" x 60", i spray mounted the pdf to the panel and cut it out.

my approach is to place a strip on either side of the vertical panel, set the thickness of the panel below the top. the top piece is then glued to the vertical piece.

these are some drawings for rewiring of the headlights - one is just headlights, the other is headlights and fog / driving lights. this is to provide power directly to the lights rather than through the ignition switch

the following tables show the speeds / rpm depending on the specific diff gear - these are based on the standard 5 speed overdrive tranny.

In regard to a recent request for information on the piping that goes on both front and back of the doors (between the door and the door panel) and the large piping that goes under the metal trim at the side panels ... i have done a drawing showing the pieces. please note that the door piping is wrapped around the core, but 10mm is left as a single thickness - to have a better fit. all of these pieces were based on original BMW piping, with the exception of the front side panel trim (thick) piping ... that was from one on my car ... so it should be close.

for information, i have also included a pic of the metal trims. the longer piece with the scalloped edge is for the rear side panel

This is so incredibly helpful and valuable! Thank you. Did the Wiring Diagrams post have two copies of the pre-74 CS? Maybe it was just me, but I think the files are duplicates. Can you post the non-pre-'74 CS?
