E9 window tint success story

@Drew Gregg Your car looks simply stunning! I just saw this post by accident and I just had the same XPel 70 ceramic installed on mine while the glass was out of the car. Have not installed it back yet so I can't say how well it works but I was happy to find your pics. I think it looks awesome. The only difference I have is that I went for 80% on the windshield. I was a bit concerned about the visibility at night so I went a tad lighter there.

Bo--The 80 or 70 % will be fine at dusk or in the dark. The XPel filters out the UV rays that will harm our interior. And that's what we really need to prevent a cracked dashboard.---Drew

Actually, I just finished re-installing the first rear window. It has the 70% tint. Here it is compared to the front window which is the original green tint. (I will have them do that one when I can drive the car there). I am quite happy with the result.

Welcome to the club
Both my cars came tinted. I HATED it on my E8 I think it ruins the classic look. I even went to serval place to remove it. One of the titers I went to asked me to promise not to remove it...he liked it so much he did not want the business. It has now grown on me and it is really nice on a hot day! And when I do not like the look I just roll down the windows!
