Every Thing your E3 NEEDS

i would imagine that the top of the evaporator is the same between the coupe and the bavaria ... if i could utilize the bavaria ductwork piece (that has the 2 circular duct adapters) ... then i could distribute air to each side. then the puzzle is to how the air is actually vented into the car. it might be that the old GM approach of the thin wide vent under the steering wheel panel would be a good approach.

That arrangement on the E3 *barely* blows any air out of the side round vents. I keep mine closed on the Si since I feel that little extra air coming straight out of the middle vents is more effective than diverting it and warming it up as it tries to travel the small corrugated ducts. The fan is just not that powerful (as we all know...).

The mod I am waiting to see is who can figure out what fan arrangement can be retrofitted that will blow twice as much air through the evaporator.
 
maybe we need to try to find a newer fan + evaporator that will fit in our cars ... or find a way to boost the fan speed

Hey, I'm doing a rear lights restoration, need the left tail light reflector, and may buy the whole thing.

Thanks, the guy went ahead and bought another light somewhere. What he needed wasn't the lens, it was the middle piece- the metal casting with all the reflector dishes. It's the later style light, I think we're all set.

I will let you know if there's anything else he needs after I get a good look at the parts he came up with. I should be getting them here in a few days in the mail.
