i was under the impression that bat 1s had the 2 vertical rear wing, not the 3 vertical ... thought that was part of the bat 2. what say you people who might know? paging @BMW Pete

Third support was added during production of the last 57 Bats only. City pack trunk torsion bars, ten hole Alpinas, wrong valve cover, yellow zinc hose clamps and trunk latch, a few too many other yellow zinc bits. Coupeking restored his Schwarz CSi with a 3.5 I think.

if i remember correctly, the Bat1 + 2 had city pack trunk torsion bars to hold up the trunk lid with the wing. i think i remember seeing that on Pete's bat 2.

With no info on the restoration (as stated in the auction) and being sold on a Bill of Sale (no registration) coupled with the somewhat weak recent BaT record on these cars recently (and E9's in general) - I am not holding my breath on this car doing well. I hope it does - but, I am not expecting it.....
