Are you planning on doing a batch without the screw holes at all ?

Just today I ordered new batch. You need a set with no holes for screws? I can arrange that.

Ok thx very much. I just took a quick look at my 77 e12. The drivers side has another piece of plastic molded as part of the plastic chrome so Its quite different I think. The chrome part appears the same.

i have the 74 and my rails -get this -
have two ears at the base and slide under the seat fraame.
so there are no holes for screws. much much better lokin
just a bit of info

I have talked to @HusseinBM to make him set with no holes. I have already laser cut new batch. 2 sets are with no holes just need sample to see where ears are fitted and dimensions (or measurements).

It would be easier to use your covers and drill holes in the body. Just my 2 cents.

I have been busy. I will go to the garage tomorrow and will take one of my good pieces to see how it fits and will take some pics. I will also provide the dimensions of the two ears and the location of the holes in ears.

Please find attached pics with sizes. I hope they will help. The ears are 2" x 1.25" as shown in the pics.

The trim with tabs and no screw holes are 3.0Si and e12, I don’t think e9 had any without screw holes, there is nowhere to mount those tabs.
