I need a 71-73 tank here, I've been asking but can't find one around here...
A labor of love. I would 2K gloss and leave it as the piece of art it is.
Looking great. I have an early and late tank, I think the only difference is the hole for the suction device. I can check when I'm in my garage next, I could probably send you a template if you like. All I ask in return is a free tank.
Tanks are very different, top vs. bottom mount, deeper with added 2L, narrower shape due to trunk mods for US bumpers.
Hi Chris - I'm in the UK, so none of those US market specific mods here. Unless it's the later larger capacity tank I'm guessing that both are almost the same. I'll compare depth of suction devices next time I'm in the garage.
I'm joking about expecting a free tank by the way.
Euro or US got the same tanks, the euro 74/75 just didn’t have the large reinforcement on each side of trunk and these are mounted from the bottom.
